Distance Selling Regulations 2000

Dancewear.com trade online under the UK
Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulations 2000, and
all consumers purchasing from our Internet site are covered and
agree to those regulations. If you need more information on the

We are not responsible for the content of external websites.
RETENTION
OF TITLE
ALL goods remain the property of Active Dancewear, until
they are paid for in full.
ORDER QUANTITIES
There is no minimum order quantity.
PAYMENT
Full and final payment must be enclosed with all
orders.
POSTAGE COSTS
Costs of postage from Active Dancewear and back to us in case
of returning goods is non refundable.
PRICES
ALL prices are subject to change without notice.
FOOTWEAR
If trying on footwear that you purchase from us please ensure
that you use tissue paper under the footwear to protect the soles
from marks or scuffs. Any footwear returned with marks or scuffs
to the soles will not be accepted back into stock for refund.
UNDERGARMENTS inc STOCKINGS &
TIGHTS
Undergarments inc stockings & tights are only returnable
if they are in their original and unopened packaging.
DELIVERY
Orders despatched via mail, courier, Parcel Force or
any other carrier will require in most cases that a signature
be obtained upon receipt of the goods. If for any
reason the carrier cannot obtain a signature and the goods are
returned to ourselves, Active Dancewear are not
liable for the cost of re-delivery. If and where possible, please
advise us of an alternative delivery address.
STOCKED ITEMS
We despatch orders within 24 hours of receipt of order. You will
always receive your goods within seven (7) days.
BACK ORDERS – OUT OF STOCK
ITEMS
We endeavour to deliver all orders placed with us within
30 days of receiving the order. If any item is not in stock we
shall place it on back order and despatch as soon as available.
Should delivery of the back ordered items not be possible, we
shall contact the customer and offer an alternative product or
a full refund if paid for on the back ordered items.
EXCHANGES
All exchange items must be accompanied by the original
Invoice Number on which the goods were purchased, including your
name and address. We advise customers to use Royal Mail Recorded
Delivery, as we are unable to accept responsibility for mislaid
or non delivery of parcels to us. Do not include
any other form of correspondence or orders with
any returns, as this will result in confusion and delays.
NON-DELIVERY
Advice of non-delivery of goods invoiced must
be notified in writing within seven (7)
days, otherwise goods are deemed to have arrived. Email notification
of non delivery is acceptable providing this
is sent to us from the contact email address on your original
order. Telephone and Fax are not acceptable,
and we advise that you send your letter to us via Royal Mail 1st
class Recorded Delivery.
RETURNS – PERFECT GOODS
Goods deemed to be in perfect condition upon return to
us will be subject to a 20% handling charge. Prior consent shall
be obtained from Active Dancewear before returning
perfect items which must be in all their original
packaging.
RETURNS – FAULTY GOODS
Worn garments must be washed in the interests of hygiene.
Active Dancewear reserve the right to replace faulty goods at
our discretion.
SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS
Any item that is a special order, including made to measure,
will not be accepted back in to stock for a refund,
as we will be unlikely to sell them. Customers are advised to
ensure that sizes and quantities are correct at the time of ordering,
as this will avoid embarrassment of declining credits/refunds
of your unwanted goods.
We cannot accept the return of:
Items
returned after 14 days from the original invoice
date.
Items not in its original condition.
Incorrectly washed garments.
Made to order items.
Special order items.
Reduced or sale items.
And due to health and hygeiene reasons:
Underwear, Opened Tights packets.
SHOE DYEING
We
recommend that customers carry out their own tests before dyeing
satin or dupion shoes, as Active Dancewear shall not
be held responsible for any faults that may arise from the dyeing
process. Whilst every effort is made to ensure shade continuity
on garments and shoes, we cannot be held responsible for any variation
in shade due to dyeing tolerances.
Active Dancewear

Roch Valley, Bloch, Snazaroo, Capezio, SoDanca, Katz, Le Papillon,
Danskin, Grimas, Mondor, Intermezzo, Debut, Topline, Star Gazer
and many others. There are currently over 1000 items within the
store and more added to every month.
